Picked my cat up from vet yesterday. has very mild skin infection and got all shots. now walking slowly. why??

so my cat has a very very mild skin infection so we're giving her antibiotics for a little while.

yesterday we picked her up from the vet. she has a lion cut so not much fur.

but yesterday she ate and drank and slept.

but today she is walking a little slowly. It's not too bad and she's not limping just moving slow.

could it be a side effect off all the shots she got yesterday? she had a few so she was all updated.

or what? why is she moving slowly, should I call and ask the vet or is it nothing to worry about?

It is nothing to worry about. Vaccines can make animals sleepy for a couple of days. If she got a lion cut because she was matted she might be a little sore from the razor. It's not anything the vet did, but imagine having dredlocks and then shaving them off. That's pretty much what it feels like. Give her a couple of days and she'll be fine. Just make sure you finish your antibiotics!
Reply:You could call and inquire, but think about how you feel after a bunch of shots! I'd be moving slowly too!
Reply:well she is probably in pain so don't blame her if she doesn't want to run around. And when you give things shots it kind of stiffens their mucules.i don't think i spelt that rihgt o well
Reply:it's only the shots. my cat does that.
Reply:if your cat had it's rabies shot then it is common for them to spike a small fever...which could cause them to move slower...keep an eye on her and if you see her throw up take her back to the vet ASAP if not then try to make her comfy, put food bed and potty in same area and let rest
Reply:maybe your cat is tired and needs to take a rest.you should not be woring about this thing but if you tooo worried about your cat then go to the vet and see if there is a problem
Reply:the shots make them loopy for a few days, so thats normal,, give it a week if still not ok then go back to the vet
