How can I cure ringworm skin infection naturally?
Ringworm is a skin infection caused by a fungus. It is not (as the name suggests) caused by a worm or parasite.

Ringworm is a common skin complaint, especially among children, but it affects people of all ages. Ringworm is very contagious. It can be passed from one person to the next by direct skin-to-skin contact This is especial so when you have been scratching the effected area or by contact with contaminated items such as, shower or pool surfaces. combs, and unwashed clothing.

You can also be infected if you have been laying on grass where infected animals have urinated or have been laying. This is more likely in warm climates.

You can also catch ringworm from pets that carry the fungus. Cats are common carriers of ringworm, and should be treated, if the are the carriers?

Lamisil AT Lamisil Cream is an effective over the counter medication

Tetrasil is also an effective over the counter cream but expensive

Ringworm home remedy treatment:

Following are some Ringworm cure home remedies:

•Take a raw fresh papaya and cut out slices. Rub the slice on the ringworm patch. It serves as an excellent home remedy for ringworms.

•Take a few mustard seeds and powder them. Thereafter, make a paste using water. Apply the paste on the ringworm-affected area and see its wonderful effects.

•Apply the juice extracted from the Holy basil leaves on the patch twice or thrice a day.

•The seeds of the herb butea have been found to be effective in treating the ringworms. Grind a few seeds of this herb and form a paste, using little limejuice. Thereafter, apply the mixture on the ringworm patch.

It is far better to go to your doctors for prescription treatment and anyway most of the prescription ingredients have natural ingredients in them.
Reply:try tea tree oil.
Reply:Not sure but Head and Shoulders dandruff shampoo works.
Reply:Oh dear; please see a doctor. We do not all want it!

If not try something like tea tree oil. If it gets bigger or does not go away please see a proper doctor.

I am at least reassured to see that you know that despite its silly name it has nothing to do with worms! I saw an article in the Sunday Times which said "the worms don't like garlic" ..

Is it any wonder I'm not keen on "alternative medicine"
Reply:The fungal infection is in your blood system, foods that are able to remove the spores, or boost your immune, and antibodies. Vinegar, wine, beets, grains, but all in moderation. Stay away from sweets, soft drinks. Unsweet dark chocalate is also good. There is a salve made in germany, that will clear it up topographically, it may be under susciption only?
Reply:Rub a slice of freshly cut raw Papaya on the patch.

Make a powder with Mustard seeds. Add some water and make a paste. Apply on the patch till it clears up.

and/or:- 1. Wash infected area with warm water
