Viral skin infection?

i spent 4 hours at hte hospital with my 5 mth old little girl yesterday, to be told she has a viral skin infection, but didn't do any tests on her, but today ive checked the symtoms which match exactly to those of Rubella, which is also a viral skin infection, but they say that it is confirmed with a blood test, does anyone know or can explain what she has

Viral skin infection?
Rubella is confirmed with a blood test so you could ask the docotrs to do one but evenif it is rubella the treatment is just to let it run its course and paracetamol or similar to deal with any stymptoms. This is the same treatment for any viral skin infection. This is probably why the doctors didnt do any tests because the treatment would have been the same anyway. Personally i would check to see if its rubella purely because when it comes time for vaccination if she has rubella she wont need that vaccination.
